“We live in a house that was built in 1946 and wanted to do something nice in our basement where the plaster on some walls had dropped from the floor and 60 cm up. First, we requested a quote from a reputable company on traditional drainage. It was expensive, we thought, but even worse was having to destroy our beloved flower beds with all the plants we had spent many years growing. Then we read about a technology that was claimed to be able to dry the basement without digging up flower beds. We were skeptical at first but after reading about other cases on their website and meeting their representatives, we decided to get started.
In April 2013, the system was installed. When measuring after 30 days, we found that the basement was not dry and not after 70 days either. The installer recommended that we chop off the old plaster and remove the wood wool boards behind. Said and done. Four weeks after the refurbishment and installation of the system, the walls were dry. The musty basement smell is now completely gone and that at half the cost of draining with traditional methods. ”
