Electro Drain's solution for drainage is based on electroosmosis, which is a well-proven method for expelling damp from concrete, stone and brick. Electrodes are mounted in the masonry (plus pole) and earth spikes are installed in the surrounding ground (minus pole). By sending pulses of direct current through that porous material, the water molecules bind positive ions which then pull away from the wall, towards the negative pole.
